Overview of the Role:

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough incoming inspections on aircraft or components based on customer requests or manufacturer guidelines.
• Document maintenance activities to comply with FARs, the companys Repair Station Manual, and customer maintenance programs.
• Conduct final buy-backs and in-progress inspections, ensuring all operations meet stringent quality standards.
• Execute return-to-service and airworthiness releases, ensuring thorough documentation in aircraft logbooks and serviceable tags.
• Oversee on-the-job training documentation and maintain rigorous audit standards of facilities for compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure adherence to scrap bin policies, providing floor guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation accurately, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with basic computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Minimum of three years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance or aircraft component maintenance preferred.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or Repairman Certificate required.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and devices used in determining tolerances and progress.
• Ability to work a variety of shift schedules, with previous QC and leadership experience a plus.
