BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 6+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing and production environment
- 6+ years of experience with repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic systems
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience maintaining PCB manufacturing equipment from vendors such as Temgtai, Benmayor, Schmoll, Shoda, Sigma Mecer, Wise, Advanced Engineering, Boffotto, Dynachem, Indubond, Machvision, or others
- 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or field service engineer
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting with high level of attention to detail
- Excellent manual dexterity in order to repair and perform preventative maintenance on precision manufacturing equipment
- Proficiently use a computer and MS Outlook and Word
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and drawings
- Ability to write detailed repair reports when necessary (skilled with use of Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency
- Familiar with Lean or Six Sigma tools like Five Whys methodology
- Current or past certification for IPC-A-600, IPC-6012 or equivalent
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work either shift, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
- Estimated shift times: Currently 1st shift from 6am-4:30pm, moving to 5pm- 5am M-Th starting 2025
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be comfortable working in a production environment with extensive use of hazardous chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and solvents
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE for lab and electro-chemical manufacturing environment
- Must be comfortable with climbing up and down ladders, grasping, standing, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, carrying, crawling, and maneuvering in tight spaces
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Machine Maintenance Technician/Level 4: $38.00 - $48.00/hour
Machine Maintenance Technician/Level 5: $43.00 - $57.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
