Our client in Coatesville, PA is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their team for their repair station. Candidates will be involved in the disassembly of a wide variety of Rolls-Royce M250 Series engines and components. As part of our team, you will work with and be trained by some of the best, most experienced M250 technicians in the industry. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.
Job Duties:
-Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components.
-Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment.
-Perform testing of M250 model engines and components.
Must Haves:
-Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturers instructions, drawings, and technical documents
-Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry
-Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
-A&P license preferred but not required
-Able to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift 50 lbs. routinely
