About the Opportunity:
Our client, a prominent leader in the private aviation charter industry, is in search of a dedicated Lead Aircraft Mechanic to join their team and ensure the highest standard of safety and excellence. Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute maintenance on corporate jets, ensuring top-tier safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide the maintenance team, enforcing strict compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Oversee maintenance records, work orders, and return-to-service documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with management regarding aircraft status, schedules, and operational readiness.
- Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, and inspection aids within the department.
Requirements:
- A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant) under 14 CFR Part 65.
- Minimum 10+ years of corporate aviation maintenance experience.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using calibrated testing equipment.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work varied hours based on operational demands.
- Experience with Beechjet 400A or Hawker 800XP aircraft.
- Must relocate to or reliably commute to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
