Inspector III - B
Huntsville, AL
Contract Position
Responsibilities:
- Setup, program and operate Laser Tracker using design data to inspect make and buy components.
- Perform first article inspections and document per AS9102.
- Perform in-process, and final inspections.
- Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and document.
- Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
- OT eligible.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
- Superior blue print reading skills including GD&T principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
- Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
- Familiar with the use of personal computers.
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
