Position Summary
Essential Duties:Primary responsible for packing and quality inspecting material and products or sub-assembly industrial air filter products, polyester filters for use of industrial and domestic heating and cooling units. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, with overtime assigned as needed. Pay range: $17.00 $18.00 per hour. Additional $2.00 per hour when working the 2nd shift. Responsibilities:
- Rotate through various tasks in the production process as needed
- Inspects, reviews, and performs extensive quality control functions on filter product
- Reviews and marks acceptable product and places items into designated boxes.
- Sets box on a tape sealer machine
- Package finished goods
- Label cartons/palletize finished goods
- Stacks boxes for distribution
- Different types of filters will be packaged,
- Change overs
- Operate necessary equipment in the assembly procedures
- May train new inspector packers on standard operation procedures
- Maintains production report (size, quantity on a specific tally sheet of product being produced and finished)
- Quantities of completed products, as well as size of filters vary depending upon production needs and requests (1”,2” and 4” filters)
- Depending on department, employee may be responsible for labeling boxes
- Maintain 5S withing working area
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Safety:- Follow safety rules and regulations
- Complete required safety audits
- Understand all PPE Requirements and proper use
- Participate in any safety meeting and training
Quality:- Understand All Aspects of The Quality of production
- Read a Tape Measure to a 16th of an Inch
- Utilize Calibrated Equipment & Devices to Assess Materials and Products
- Complete and Review Documents
- Complete quality inspections
Delivery:- Communicate Effectively with all team members and supervisors
- Complete Mathematical Calculations
- Learn and Execute All Duties for Production Tasks within the Value Stream
- Participate High Performance Teams
Cost:- Ability to Understand and Production Track Metrics
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- May be required to lift to approximately 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand at workstation for a long period of time
- Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and dust particles
- Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions or rotations into other lines and or departments
- Must be able to keep a fast pace

- Basic math skills and be able to read and write
- Some manufacturing experience is a plus.
