Position Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair and modify aircraft structures, structural components and engines
Maintain and repair aircraft components (flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components)
Determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition to operation using airframe and power plant systems
Maintain schedules on assigned projects
Interpret technical blueprints or manufactures manuals
Assist team members in General Mechanics, Avionics/Electronics
Identify if a fastener is a rivet, blind rivet, screw, hi-lock, bolt, or lock bolt
Remove damaged screws without damaging surrounding structure
Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures
Perform structural modification and repair fracture critical areas
Utilize advanced tools and equipment to fabricate, assemble and install aircraft structural components
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option (San Antonio, TX).
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with aircraft systems, structure design components and engines
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
Able to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with F/A-18 or Depot Level/Structure maintenance and modification
Experience with multiple materials such as titanium and composites
Experience operating a forklift, mobile crane and riding type electric powered elevating equipment
Experience with Hazardous and Lock Out Tag Out systems applications
Typical Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 10+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary Pay Rate: $71,760 - 34.50 hourly
Additive Pay: $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
