Job Title: Engine Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Powerplant Mechanic with proven hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Honeywell TFE731 series turbofan engines. This individual will support engine maintenance activities for business jet and/or military aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and company procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong engine teardown/build experience, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced MRO or flight-line environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Honeywell TFE731 series turbofan engines.
- Perform engine teardown and build activities.
- Inspect and reassemble engines following OEM and company procedures.
- Troubleshoot and isolate engine faults.
- Utilize CMMs, IPCs, and OEM technical data for maintenance tasks.
- Remove and install engines as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Conduct mechanical assembly and blueprint reading as required.
- Engage in engine repair, overhaul, and rebuild activities.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Honeywell TFE731 engines.
- Experience in an MRO, overhaul shop, or flight-line environment.
- Ability to read and interpret CMMs, IPCs, AMMs, and SBs.
- Familiarity with engine tooling, measuring instruments, and precision assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- check and drug screening.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A&P license is highly desirable.
- Experience with aircraft engine maintenance and repair.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
