Position Responsibilities
*Perform modifications per Engineering Change Orders.
*Inspect assemblies to ensure IPC-A-610 quality standards are met.
*Inspect components to identify common defects in components and soldering, as well as improper use of flux and PCB cleaning.
*Modify and repair products according to applicable documentation and procedures.
*Perform detailed work on component boards and utilize fine-pitch solder on components.
*Utilize Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Change Orders, and process work orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
*Remove and replace PTH components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, transistors, switches, fuses, connectors, transformers, inductors, LEDs) and SMT components (discrete components, gullwing and J Lead components).
*Utilize standard work documentation (diagrams, photos, written/verbal instructions) and apply personal judgment based on specialized knowledge to rework product units.
*Ensure workmanship and quality of products.
*Manage multiple assignments and identify deviations from accepted practices. Basic Qualifications
*Prompt and regular attendance is required to ensure quality workflow.
*Must possess both oral and written skills to communicate with supervisors, and co-workers, and to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
*Basic Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn additional software (Word, Excel, Access). Job Duties
*Perform assembly and inspection to ensure quality performance, including knowledge and application of IPC-A-610 quality standards.
*Complete other duties as requested to ensure 100% quality, accuracy, and product verification. Desired Skills

*Experience removing and replacing various components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, transistors, switches, fuses, connectors, transformers, inductors, LEDs, discrete components, gullwing, and J Lead components).
*Experience with SMT fine-pitch components (lead width < 50 mil).
*Ability to identify common component and soldering defects, including the proper use of flux.
