Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Jacksonville, FL that is committed to excellence in aviation services. As a key player in the aviation services landscape, they take pride in ensuring the safety and efficiency of air travel, making every journey a seamless experience. We are looking for skilled Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technicians to assist with this clients production needs.
The Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft components and airframe structural supports.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate when tasks are complete so next trade can move onto the job.
- Ensure work environment is safe and clean.
- Promote company values, vision, and mission.
- Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
- Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax.
- Carry out maintenance repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician
- Completely and accurately sign off work in progress documentation and work cards for work accomplished.
- Report unserviceable equipment to assigned Lead A&P Technician and/or delegate.
- Notify Lead A&P Technician of all defects discovered during maintenance.
- Attend training courses as directed by company management.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in the field.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- A&P Certified is preferred, but not required.
