On behalf of its client, Aerotek is seeking Aircraft Structures Mechanic where you will perform essential maintenance on aircraft structures components. This is Monday - Friday 7/8am - 4/5pm. Local $25-32/hr .
Job Description: You will ensure the safety and efficiency of various aircraft parts by conducting inspections, performing repairs, and maintaining detailed records. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft mechanics and the ability to work in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on aircraft structures components.
- Develop and maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any reports related to parts or services.
- Inspect and examine various types of structures components to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects.
- Consult maintenance manuals and specifications to identify correct operations and specifications for replacements or repairs.
- Install new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the structures components.
- Repair sheet metal as needed.
- Identify and resolve mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from customers.
- Maintain all documentation related to inspections, repairs, and reassembly of structures components.
- Follow all Federal, company, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
