As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines:
- You are eligible for health, vision, and dental coverage as well as short-term/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance policies. If selected, these are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. Our current benefit enrollment guide will be provided during the onboarding process if you are selected for employment.
- You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan, which would also be effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. The Company match is up to 6. Your eligibility to participate in this benefit will be in accordance with the normal practices and guidelines of the Company. - You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
- You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
- You are eligible for non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.
- You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave, non-medical leave for the care of a family member, maternity leave, paternity leave, personal leave, etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines’ leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.
Additional information:
- The hourly rate for this position is between $32.00 and $42.00 based on your years of experience. Additionally, based on your performance, you are eligible to receive a step increase of $1.00 each year based on your pay anniversary date until you reach $42.00. Once you have reached the maximum pay rate, you are eligible to receive a retention bonus of up to $2,000.00 each year.
- When you work in excess of 40 hours within the pay period, you are eligible for overtime which is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
- When you work on a Contour Airlines observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines’ observed holiday policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.

Summary of Essential Duties:
- Maintain, modify, and install the various components of aircraft sheet metal.
- Repair, rework, install and fabricate the complex aircraft structural assemblies, both internal and external.
- Lay out plans, fabrication and installation models for modifications.
- Perform checks; carry out inspections and removal of components.
- Study technical manuals, blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Provide assistance to aircraft maintenance technicians on various tasks.
- Remove and disassemble defective parts of the aircraft.
- Perform final checks on assembly and installation of parts that were replaced.
- Maintain and keep track of all the maintenance records.
- Adhere to Company policies and safety programs.
- Maintain the supplies and perform preventive maintenance.
- Training and assisting subordinates in the proper work procedures and practices to be followed.
- Assist in maintaining the Repair Station facilities in a clean and orderly fashion. Ensures that all shop equipment and tools are maintained in a serviceable working condition.
- Ensure that all required Repair Station forms and documents are properly executed.
- Initiate purchase requisitions for aircraft parts to complete the assigned task.
- Determine that all personnel under her/his supervision perform quality work.
- Ensure the proper handling and preservation of all articles or parts during the work process, installation, and storage.
- Oversee the work performed by any individuals who are unfamiliar with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to perform the maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations.

Work Environment:
- Exposed to vibrations.
- Commonly exposed to mobile mechanical parts and fumes.
- Handling and disposing of toxic materials in accordance with Company procedures.
- Exposed to a damp and humid environment.
- Occasionally, working in dangerous places with risks of electric shocks.
- Exposed to high levels of noise.
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling.
- Standing on feet for extended periods of time.
- Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools.
