Job Description
This is an entry level position which will give an individual the opportunity to gain on-the-job training for multiple departments within the Company and the aviation industry. This position will be assisting all Contour hangar operational departments include Stores, Tooling, Shipping/Receiving, Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, Accessories, and Components.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Assist, under constant supervision, in maintaining or repairing aircraft, aircraft systems, aircraft engines and aircraft components according to all technical specifications.
- Under supervision, perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair. and alterations of aircraft.
- Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting defective aircraft systems and components.
- Performs special projects and/or other duties as assigned or required by leadership.
Working Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling.
- Standing on feet for extended periods of time
- Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools
