What You Will Do

- As the A&P Technician, you will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment
- You will conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications
- You will manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers
- You will also troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications
- Up to 30 Travel
What You Will Learn
- How to serve as local on-site RTX representative to the customers organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements
Qualifications You Must Have
- Associate’s Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 6+ years of mechanical assembly, troubleshooting/repair, overhaul or related experience
- A&P License
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
- A&P Technician experience
- Shop/Bench refurbishment experience
- Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, modules and components
- Airframe experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC)-powered aircraft
- Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRPs, aircraft interface
- Customer service experience

- Pratt & Whitney in Atlanta, GA is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
- This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
