Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the A&P Helicopter Maintenance Technician maintains the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the FAA as part of a team of technicians for a safe and successful mission by keeping the work scope on track , on budget and in compliance with the FAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and perform diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions.
- Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Document and record maintenance functions in an FAA approved records format.
- Keeping detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft in accordance with the repair station guidelines.
- Ensure work schedule and return to service dates are on time.
- Evaluate the services offered by the organization with the aim of continuously improving the quality of products and services.
- Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations.
- Complete tasks within allotted time frames and to FAA (or equivalent) and company standards.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.
- Communicate with DOM any issues as they arise.
