PAL Airlines is seeking a Casual Call-In Cargo Agent to join our St. John’s, NL team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to cargo inquires;
- Provide freight quotes;
- Accept small freight; issuing waybills and handling cargo;
- Provide internal and external customer support;
- General accounting and completion of daily sales reports;
- Process cargo for shipping based on customer needs;
- Perform general office and warehouse duties as required;
- Operate forklift;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Completion of High School;
- Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products;
- Basic accounting knowledge;
- Ability to perform duties related to cash sales and POS system;
- Previous experience in customer service would be an asset;
- Ability to lift weight handling up to 50 lbs.;
- Excellent communication and organization skills;
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
