What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage senior stakeholders and facilitate stakeholder engagement to define business requirements for your mandate;
- Support all sites with appropriate sourcing and negotiations strategies;
- Participate in the development of the projects that would include the preparation of business cases;
- Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances;
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and negotiations;
- Identify, analyze and realize cost reduction opportunities;
- Coordinate complex projects with multi-functional teams;
- Ensure that risk management and compliance standards are rigorously and consistently applied across all contracts with our supply base;
- Support in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches and the interpretation/application of various contract clauses;
- Lead category governance, comprising of both suppliers and stakeholders;
- Supplier invoice/payment tracking/expediting, and quarterly/yearly project spend forecasting;
- Contribute to the development of the IGS organization.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have a bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent and three (3) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing
- You have experience in the construction (P3, Large Private sector projects, etc.) and aerospace industry (manufacturing environment and acquisition of manufacturing equipment) would be an asset
- You understand legal terminology and contracts interpretation; you have the ability to draft and to manage contracts.
- You have excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management.
- You are a strong team player, recognized for your leadership and innovation, and ability to mobilize a team
- Have a high proficiency and are good communicator in English and French (written and spoken)
- You have strong capabilities in operations and financial management.
- Are familiar with a wide range of sourcing approaches relevant to the category.
- You are familiar with Just-In-Time purchasing logistic, integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts.
- You can work with MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook
- Are able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
