Shipside Operations Specialist 2

Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities across limited functions to coordinate resolution of emergent shipside issues in support of specific operations.
- Provide limited feedback on assessment results. Assist team members in implementing strategies and plans.
- Assist with updating tracking and visibility tools.
- Communicate status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
- Analyze problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts, materials and tools to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
- Identify and solve problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Work under general supervision.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous company experience required.
- Experience with the following systems: Velocity, REDARS - Engineering Information Delivery, Product Standards
- Data System (PSDS), Integration Visualization Tool (IVT)
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years of experience w/operations analysis.
- 1+ years of experience w/root cause analysis.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Project Management
