Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain and provide accurate information and communication with manufacturing and engineering
• Comply with all safety recommendations and requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Administer and monitor a variety of tests to comply with customers’ requirements
• Assemble and disassemble hydraulic powered test stands using pneumatic and manual tools
• Technician will engage in generating and implementing ideas and processes to help the continuous improvement of various projects, while utilizing and managing all possible resources so that department goals are met and exceeded
• The technician is required to complete a supervised training program as well as read and understand any pertinent training or department procedural manuals.
Education and Experience:
• Prior Pneumatic experience
• Experience with use of hand tools and data acquisition in the area employed.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Working knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and/or hydraulics a plus.
• Experience with test apparatus control and data acquisition hardware and software
Abilities and Skills:
• Ability to read and decipher drawings and specifications.
• Must be able to read/comprehend, write, communicate orally and analyze data.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to quickly comprehend industry-related technical terms.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks as part of a team
• Ability to work well with others - a team player.
Physical requirements:
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
• Fabrication or machining skills are highly valued
• Must be able to work legally in the US.
