What are your contributions to the team?
- Validate and correct the assembly manuals or manufacturing specifications intended for the fabrication or assembly of aircraft components;
- Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
- Define the tools necessary for the fabrication or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing.
- Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments.
- Actively participate in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support services.
- Stay informed about ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies, as well as participate in research and development projects.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a college or university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aerospace manufacturing, or a minimum of 1-3 years in a related discipline;
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- You possess good logic and mechanical reasoning;
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- You know computer-aided design software such as Catia, AutoCAD, Enovia...;
- You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP...;
- You have excellent teamwork skills, are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
- You are fluent in French, both spoken and written, and have a good knowledge of English.
