Material Planner
Greenville, SC
Contract Position
$14.00-$19.00/Hour
Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircrafts operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Handle 55-gallon drums, 5-gallon pails, and various chemical containers, preparing them for segregation, waste storage, and disposal.
- Operate hand tools and hand trucks to move and manage waste containers and drums.
- Assist the hazardous waste operator in preparing and shipping waste for disposal.
- Use powered equipment, including waste compactors, forklifts, and trucks with lift gates, to move waste throughout the facility.
- Move non-powered waste bins for segregation and disposal, working closely with various chemicals and waste materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in Hazardous Waste Management.
- 1-2 years of forklift operation experience.
- Familiarity with hazardous waste handling and disposal processes.
