What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage the supply and flow of non-controllable goods and services (IGS – Indirect Goods & Services) in order to meet planned operational needs within the set budget.
- Manage suppliers to ensure delivery of parts on time, in accordance with customer priorities.
- Ensure the elimination of obsolete/inactive stocks
- Coordinate cross-site requests, if applicable.
- Minimize discrepancies and deviations from supplier plans as much as possible by proposing sustainable short-term solutions and making suppliers aware of the impact of their work on profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and tool levels with production.
- Coordination with production to align needs and problem resolution
- Validate planned orders in appropriate purchasing documentation.
- Manage non-conforming materials activities to meet schedule.
- Manage inbound shipments (inbound traffic)
- Ensure that documentation complies with internal and external regulations (weak points, K of C).
- Participate in improvement projects and the process from request to offer
- Support procurement teams in commodity negotiations and projects.
- Manage workload and quickly prioritize tasks to create the greatest added value for the company and internal and external customers.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelors degree in administration or operations management.
- You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in materials or inventory management.
- You have work experience in the aerospace field
- You have experience or knowledge of ARIBA and SAP is an asset.
- You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer-oriented.
- You have good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
