Responsibilities
Read and interpret process prints including math conversions for setting machines.Read and interpret quality information instructions.Produce and inspect finished parts using scales, calipers, micrometers, adjustable, direct reading and fixed gages to check work.Read, interpret and record data on required documentation for quality assurance.Keep fixtures and clamping devices clear of chips.Machine operation including loading and unloading of parts according to standard work instructions.Recognize defective tooling, machine malfunctions and dimensional deviations.Maintain a high degree of cleanliness, organization, quality and safety.Change tooling during a change over or troubleshooting.Understand and follow standard work for required machines.Proceed with minimum supervision; instructions and guidance provided on new work, tooling and operating difficulties.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Qualifications
Diploma or G.E.D.Previous manufacturing set up experience preferred.
