Description: The designee shall provide logistics support to various sites. The individual shall be familiar with manual and automated supply accounting systems, AFMAN 23-122 and AFH 23-123 policies and procedures, techniques of requirement computation, storage practices, and inventory management. The designee shall have a working knowledge of the functional areas of supply,
transportation, maintenance and procurement, and traffic management (TMO) and/or air terminal operations, freight, acceptance, preparation, processing, inspection, documentation and handling procedures. The designee shall have knowledge in certification and/or inspection of Hazardous Materials for Air Transportation IAW AFMAN 24-204 (I) and Cargo movement as prescribed in AFI 24-203; knowledge in palletizing cargo, aircraft cargo loading/unloading cargo tie down restraint procedures. Providing management of Government Furnished Property in the possession of a Contractor is critical to the position.
Education: High School diploma or GED. Relevant Associate’s degree preferred. Formal training on material management activities such as: military technical training school, vocational college, and/or a four (4) year apprentice program with experience in material management and logistics support.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of practical experience with duty performed in various Asset Management Systems, USAF Standard Base Supply (SBSS) or Enterprise Solutions System (ES-S) functions to include a min of "4" years’ experience as a Supply Liaison/technician. Equivalency for the following classes shall be provided as follows: (1) Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, (2) Acquisition Logistics Fundamentals, (3) Systems Sustainment Management; (4) Intermediate Systems Acquisition, (5) Intermediate Acquisition Logistics, and (6) Performance Based Logistics.
Active Secret Clearance preferred.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.)
Ability to pass a USCENTCOM MOD17 Medical and Dental Exam
