Reports ToSenior Manager, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing - Direct Category Management
Role Purpose1. To coordinate and perform analysis for the identified sourcing project including category management methodologies.
2. Support in procuring goods and services in the identified work category, RFx exercise and negotiating contracts consistent with given business requirements.
Key Accountability- Assist in proper administration of Airlines Operations category sourcing as to meet and comply with Corporate policy and governance
- Coordinate and perform spend analysis for all Airport Operations sourcing projects including but not limited to Global SGHA (Ground Handling, Cargo Handling, Technical Handling), ground support equipment (GSE), manpower, etc.
- Coordinate all technical evaluation for sourcing projects
- Engage business unit/line stations on sourcing project initiatives, drive and obtain stakeholders buy-in.
- Develop pricing benchspan with focus on spend analysis, spanet/industry trends/supplier spanet economics to develop supplier spanet intelligence.
- Execute RFx exercise and communicate contract guidelines to affected parties.
- Clarify and communicate contract guidelines to affected parties.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor in Business Management or related field, preferably in Aviation Management OR Supply Chain Management.
- At least 02 years in Procurement with 01 to 02 years work in similar roles in multi-national companies
Skills & Knowledge- Skillful and expose in Excel and other Microsoft Office (ie Word, Power Point), SAP and Ariba
- Knowledge with Procurement OR supply chain and Procurement non-compliance process
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Good command of written and spoken English for communication
Key Challenges- To work independently with very minimal supervision especially in performing analysis for the identified sourcing project including category management methodologies.
- Category management: to support in procuring goods and services for the identified work category, RFx exercise and negotiating contracts consistent with given business requirements.
- Require time commitment to ensure project timeline are met and able to manage multiple projects to handle at one time
