BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer science, finance, business, data science or other computational disciplines.
- 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, finance operations, or data assurance.
- Experience with SQL and BI tools (PowerBI).
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Accounting, FP&A, or Finance Operations for technology companies with global sales.
- Exceptional analytical skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to regularly interface with executive management.
- Experience working on multi-stakeholder initiatives with strong collaboration skills in a global environment with cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technology, driving automation into processes, and using data and trend analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, and be resourceful and solution-oriented in ambiguous situations.
- Self-starter, results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal communication skills, exceptional personal accountability, and ethical standards. Capable of influencing without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to improve current state practices, own end-to-end processes, and map and optimize existing processes.
- Experience in a scripting language such as Python.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- CPA license or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- This position is based in Hawthorne, CA (Los Angeles area), and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Sr. Financial Analyst: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
