Senior Financial Analyst (Full Time)

The Senior Financial Analyst role is crucial for driving financial accuracy and strategic decision-making within the organization. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed variance analysis, assisting in the development and management of budgets, creating accurate financial forecasts, and contributing to month-end closing processes. This role demands strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and effective collaboration across departments to provide vital financial insights.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Conduct comprehensive variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgeted and forecasted figures.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to understand key drivers of financial performance.
Assist in the development and consolidation of annual budgets.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information for budget preparation.
Develop short-term and long-term financial forecasts using historical data, economic indicators, and departmental input.
Update and maintain forecasting models to reflect changing business needs and market conditions.
Assist in month-end closing procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Minimum Position Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree required in Accounting from accredited college/university within the United States.
Public Accounting Experience, Masters degree and/or CPA license is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting or alternatively 3+ years in Public Accounting.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
