Position Title: Senior Analyst Financial Reporting
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting is responsible for the accurate and timely filing of Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory reports. In addition, the Senior Analyst generates consolidated monthly internal financial statements and performs complex accounting such as investments and stock compensation.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assists in the financial reporting to the SEC on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K and any other ad-hoc reporting forms that may be required
- Collaborates with Investor Relations, Financial Reporting & Analysis, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy of external reporting deliverables
- Financial reporting to the DOT on Form 41 and related schedules
- Federal and international financial surveys and regulatory reporting
- Prepares monthly cash flow statement
- Provides schedules and support for internal monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Responsible for the consolidation of subsidiaries
- Accounting for investments
- Stock compensation accounting and profit-sharing accrual
- Preparation of 401K financial statements and coordinate plan audit
- Researches technical accounting issues, as needed
- Ad-hoc reporting as needed; provides regular updates to team members and leadership; organizes and leads interdepartmental project teams
- Assist with implementation of Climate Disclosure rules
- All other duties as assigned
