Reporting to the D&S Manager, Global Reporting and Analysis, you will:
- Participate in the consolidation of the monthly forecast of the Defense and Security segment, including the preparation of reports and analyses for senior management.
- Participate in the annual budget process for the segment, including the preparation of the consolidated budget package and ad hoc analysis.
- Conduct monthly analyses of income statement variances comparing actuals to forecast, budget and the prior year.
- Work closely with senior management and be a business partner providing guidance and support to the D&S regions.
- Perform general and customized analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Support special projects and works with teams globally in process improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- CPA accounting designation.
- Five (5) years of experience in an accounting firm or similar position.
- Ability to thrive in an often fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to find solutions and make recommendations by thinking outside of the box.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
- Hyperion Financial Management and/or Hyperion Planning expertise an asset.
