What are your contributions to the team?
- Our team researches, develops, implements and supports innovative technologies used to improve the manufacturing processes and processes used at the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center in order to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce cycle times, eliminate non-conformities and all sources of waste.
- Analyze the performance and reliability of automated riveting cells;
- Write technical quotes, specifications and carry out required analyses;
- Technically support the acquisition, implementation or improvement stages;
- Develop and execute rigorous test plans;
- Diagnose breakdowns and problems and propose solutions;
- Use your experience in industrial automation to support maintenance in problem solving;
- Participate in the evolution of integration product lines to meet new industry 4.0 concepts.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have a D.E.C. bachelors degree in automated production engineering, industrial engineering, or any other relevant training;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in industrial automation;
- You have knowledge of programmable controllers, field instrumentation, HMI, servo control and preferably in robotics and vision;
- You also have a foundation in computer networks, structured language programming (VBA, C) and preferably in databases (SQL);
- You master the basic concepts of mechanics, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics and you are able to read plans of all types;
- You will be able to learn and respect the regulations associated with aeronautics;
- You have a strong analytical mind and are able to apply effective technical solutions;
- You have a foundation in project management and are comfortable working in a team;
- You have a good command of written and spoken French and English.
