THE ROLE: Technical Engineer – Cabin Design

You could soon be part of the next chapter of our story as there is an exciting opening for a Technical Engineer - Cabin Design.
Our team is extremely privileged to be at the heart of the customer proposition in Engineering. Our team scopes, designs, embodies, and provides technical support for cabin interior products including aircraft seating, monuments and all other cabin interior components. These are introduced via new aircraft or aircraft retrofits. This involves managing multiple suppliers such as Airbus, Boeing and Collins Aerospace and global maintenance organisations as part of a multi-billion-pound investment.
Were looking for energetic, conscientious, flexible and diligent individuals who are focused, self-driven and organised. You will need to have excellent communication skills to work with multiple departments throughout BA & IAG and external suppliers to deliver these projects. If you have a background in aircraft cabin design, excellent knowledge of Part 21 & Part M regulatory requirements, this could be your opportunity to take on this exciting role.
Job role requires some overseas travel and flexibility to provide technical support to our operational fleet when necessary.
Your experience:
- Experience in people development and career pathways.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Project Management experience
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Computer literate and competent in all core Microsoft programmes
- Ability to build strong relationships quickly with key stakeholders.
- Able to challenge at all levels.
