Job Description:
The Strike Systems Test Organization team requires a Systems Engineering & Operations Manager responsible for all facets of Strike Systems Test engineering & operations, including staffing, planning, execution and reporting in multiple technology areas. This position requires a highly motivated and self-starting individual with relevant test operations experience, who will be willing to work additional assignments beyond the defined requirements of this position.
Typical duties include:
Manage the daily test activities and personnel support, prioritize tasks, oversee resource scheduling to include cross-program de-confliction, and oversee the strategic long-term planning of Test Engineering & Operations
Manage the daily tasks of the assigned personnel, including Test Directors and Conductors, Mission Planners, Schedulers and support personnel
Manage the Test Engineering & Operations staffing administrative obligations to include career progression mentoring, performance reviews, time charging management, candidate interviews/selection, and applications for program clearances
Liaise with the PAICoE Test Operations Functional Homeroom and the Government Flight Representative (GFR) as required for the statement of work
Coordinate with responsible entities to resolve issues with our facility, IT resources, and security infrastructures
Identify all risks, issues, and pressures and develop mitigation and closure plans

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 9 years of relevant test experience with an emphasis on test engineering or operations, OR a Masters degree in a STEM discipline AND 7 years of relevant test experience with an emphasis on test engineering or operations
Must have prior management/leadership experience
Must have an active DOD Secret clearance, with an investigation date within the past 6 years (with ability to upgrade to Top Secret)
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Must have flexibility to work additional flight assignments beyond the defined requirements of this position
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
Experience in flight test and test execution from within a mission control room
Active DOD Top Secret clearance, with an investigation date within the past 6 years.
Current PAR
Salary Range: $151,900 - $227,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
