Systems Engineer

Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze cyber-attack surfaces and implement cybersecurity controls for Missile and Fire Control (MFC) products.
- Perform cybersecurity maintenance, including continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and system hardening.
- Provide cybersecurity oversight for systems and software teams, delivering necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATO).
- Design and implement embedded System Security Engineering (SSE) solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems.
- Assess and mitigate security threats and risks throughout the embedded weapon system development lifecycle.
- Validate and verify system security requirements, analyzing vulnerabilities and threats to the systems security posture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience; or Masters Degree.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- 3-5 years of experience in:
- Cybersecurity for embedded systems.
- System Security, Systems Analysis, and Design.
- STIGs and system hardening.
- Cyber tools (Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS) and software assurance tools (SAST and DAST).
- Desired Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Software Engineering.
- Experience with systems development and SOP/process creation.
