Lockheed Martin (LM) Space is searching for the Systems Engineer-IT Manager and Deputy Business Owner for the ATLAS team.

The Infrastructure provider for Stormbreaker Development and Ops Teams.
• Provides Full Life Cycle Development and Software/Hardware Maintenance Activities for critical 24x7 National systems
• Provide programmatic and technical direction
• Provides both first line and long term Problem Resolution Support for Development and Testing Systems changes/fixes
• System contains ~60+ Million lines of code, > 100 Database instances, and over 2000 COTS/FOSS
• Previously known as Symphony, IDMO, and other programs going back decades
• Earned Value Management to include Control Account Manager for the Stormbreaker program.


The Systems Engineer-IT Manager and Deputy Business Owner will be also be a leader within the S2CO talent center and responsible for:

• Supporting the talent & strategic team development
• Partner across E&T organizations to advance knowledge sharing, foster cross-functional team talent, and increase organization skill set benches
• Understand the Space Strategy and how to connect it to the E&T team
• Foster a culture that asks for help
• Foster a culture that shares lessons and best practices
• Overseeing of personnel including efficient allocation of resources and resource dynamics (adds, losses, training).
• Employee recruitment, training, performance assessment, work assignments, recognition, and talent center
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ Years of experience guiding teams, projects, etc.
• Demonstrated experience motivating and leading teams.
• Experienced in developing and managing requirements and processes
• Knowledge of and experience with IT solutions and IT resource personnel.
• Understanding of and experience with supporting Infrastructure, Applications, and Cybersecurity teams and projects.
• Development, and implementation of software and hardware systems.
• TS/SCI required prior to start
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle from new business pursuit to contract closure.
• Highly motivated and able to prioritize and integrate multiple projects.
• Information Security: Demonstrated experience with risk analysis and related business resolution processes.
• Deep understanding of information security trends and current industry focus areas, Technical experience with vulnerability management, normal infrastructure/perimeter protections, information security best practices.
• Program Management and IT Integration skills (i.e., Infrastructure, Applications or Cybersecurity)
• Experience with Cloud based IT Solutions/Architectures.
• Experience working with classified and controlled unclassified information.
• Thorough communication and critical thinking skills.
• Experience supporting remote sites.
• Extensive experience with requirement analysis and verification methodologies.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
