Job Description:
The Hardware Production Support Engineer is responsible for supporting the program Integrated Project Team (IPT) Lead and Operations production / depot repair team in the test and troubleshoot of Electronic Warfare (EW) electronic assemblies. The Hardware Production Support Engineer will use automated and manual electronic test equipment to perform acceptance test and engineering evaluations. The Hardware Production Support Engineer will work with Operations technicians to support in troubleshooting and is responsible for directing test evaluations. The Hardware Production Support Engineer will aid in troubleshooting and maintenance of Specialized Test Equipment (STE) Equipment.
The role is for second-shift support (2:00PM – 11:30PM). The Hardware Production Support Engineer will need to coordinate with first-shift engineers to ensure daily tasking is properly understood and executed. Overtime (OT) may be required if needed to support time-critical customer deliverables.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for troubleshooting test failures based on engineering analysis of the device under test (DUT) and test plan documentation, with support from the IPT Lead and/or other engineering resources as necessary.
Responsible for assisting Operations test technicians in executing tests, proper use of electronic test equipment, and troubleshooting DUTs.
Responsible for supporting Failure Review Board (FRB) and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis actions.
Responsible for proactively supporting customer deliverable production goals.
Communicates within and outside of own function to report status, roadblocks, improvement areas, support needs.
After a training period (Up to 3 months) with the IPT Lead and/or other cognizant engineers on first shift (7:30AM – 5:00PM), a transition to second shift (2:00PM – 11:30PM)
Qualifications:
BS/BA (or equivalent) in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, and minimum 4 years software or systems or electronics experience or Masters degree and 2 years software or systems or electronics experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior software systems or electronics experience.
2+ years’ experience performing electrical and Radio Frequency (RF) test of electronic hardware.
2+ years’ experience troubleshooting electronic hardware to the electrical component level.
2+ years’ experience in RF or Digital engineering troubleshooting techniques, tools, and process.
2+ years’ experience with high-speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.)

Secret Clearance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with System Integration and Design Verification Testing
Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with Boundary Scan/LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control
Experience with OSHA requirements and ESD best practices
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $81,500 - $151,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
