We have an exciting new remote opportunity with our Digital Technology Global Digital Delivery Organization - Finance Controls and Compliance Team for a Solution Architect. - Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Our team leads the development and deployment of application systems which power P&Ws Commercial and Military OEM and Aftermarket network, which includes engine assembly, engine overhaul, part repair, line maintenance and engine fleet management. The position will provide direct support for the Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) organization.
In this role you will be involved in every aspect of the EVMS activities of the finance controls and compliance application team. Working with a collaborative team, you will ensure stable application solutions.
What You Will Do:
This role requires strong hands-on auditing experience, including:
- Bridging gaps between business processes and MES functionality & capabilities.
- Translating customer requirements into a solution design.
- Functional and technical problem solving.
- Converting business requirements into functional requirements documents for projects requiring EVMS support.
- Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, technical and functional team members, and business partners to architect and build system solutions for using the latest technologies to satisfy requirements.
- Managing suppliers and partners to schedule and status resources required for solution development and implementation.
- Moderate domestic and international travel (5-10) may be required
due to customer locations in different time zones, customer meetings can occur outside normal business work hours
Qualifications You Must Have:
- BS degree in MIS, Business, Engineering, or related degree. and 10+ years of prior relevant work experience; OR an Advanced Degree in MIS, Business, Engineering, or related degree and 8+ years of prior relevant work experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 14+ years of prior relevant work experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience related to solution architecture application development.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to Government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Preferred exposure to the Primavera, WebEVM, Empower, and SAP ECC applications.
- Management of more than three digital technology projects.
- Experience with the Archer risk management system.
- Experience with the Service Now system.
- Extensive experience in understanding the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
