Software Quality Assurance

Contract Position
Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Software Quality Assurance for embedded application software development and maintenance on military vehicle platforms.
- Develop and execute Software Quality Plans, including audit schedules, measurement infrastructure, and software test planning.
- Conduct Software Quality Audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and CMMI Level 5 standards, reporting results, tracking corrective actions, and maintaining audit metrics.
- Review and oversee software development work products, perform product audits, participate in peer reviews, and evaluate formal change documentation.
- Support program activities such as change boards, formal reviews, and customer interactions, and validate test environments for requirements verification.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in defense software quality assurance, with experience implementing quality programs.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding software code, with familiarity in Ada, C, and C++.
- Experience with software measurement techniques and familiarity with CMMI processes.
- Knowledge of Windows and Unix OS.
- Familiarity with Git, Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira), and Agile development processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- ASQ Software Quality Engineer certification preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Occasional overtime and travel may be required.
