- Be a part of a team which delivers cutting edge technologies in the Aerospace & Defense sector providing significant value to our customers.
- Analysis for product Reliability and safety
- Examine existing systems and investigate problem reports generated by internal and external teams and perform failure analysis.
- Be a part of the full Product development life cycle (PDLC) for each assigned project, adhering to company standards and expectations.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Perform reliability, maintainability, and safety analyses in accordance with customer specifications,
- Performing reliability prediction analyses including but not limited to component stress analysis, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removal (MTBUR) on existing/developing electronic and mechanical products. These analyses are performed at the system/functional block as well as component level.
- Interfaces with the System Design and Development team on incorporating system and unit safety and reliability requirements.
- Performing aircraft related reliability prediction analyses including dispatch and mission reliability predictions.
- Performing Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) & Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Performing System Safety Analyses (SSA) including Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analyses (FTA) & Common cause Analyses.
- Performing Single Event Effect (SEE)
- Performing Fault tolerance Analyses for electronics circuit with hand as well as on software like as LT SPICE
- Performing Electronics failure investigation & find root cause also suggest solutions.
- Conducting data and trending analyses
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering
- 8-12 years’ experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in RELEX, CAFTA, and MS Word, Excel, LT Spice/ Cadence
- MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-338, MIL-STD-882E, SAE ARP 4761/4754, Also FAA/JAA and AC/AMJ25.1309 requirements.
- Certification in the area of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability
- Experience using Windchill Quality Solutions suite of tools
- Experience in gathering, analyzing and presenting data from a variety of sources
- Experience in technical document and report generation
- Experience in interpreting circuits and engineering drawings
- Proactive and effective in addressing reliability issues with the program design and support teams.
- Working knowledge across multiple support engineering disciplines
- Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and inter-personal skills to achieve technical objectives.
- Desire to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities.
