Our Integrated Electrical Solutions team is looking for a temporary SW/HW Integration Engineer to join their team. The select person will modify existing ground test station to accommodate additional capabilities for program development. You will install new hardware elements and developing software for an update to the existing Ground Test Station. You will be responsible for integrating and checkout of that update test position. You will work with junior level engineers to train them on updated ground station with respect to the overall system architecture, design elements, and how to use the equipment.
What You Will Do
- Integrate new HW components into existing test equipment
- Develop SW to interface to new HW components
- Integration and checkout of newly designed test system
- Mentoring junior engineers to learn the test systems
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be proficient with: Visual Studio, C programming, C++ programming, python
- Experience with Electronics integration
- Experience with developing embedded SW systems and Firmware/SW interfaces
- Experience interfacing to SpaceWire HW and SpaceWire message protocol
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with full life cycle integration from design to full check out
- Experience in interfacing to RF and focal plane array systems
- Experience in RAM Ground test station development

- Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.
