What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead the program management of a research platform
- Rally the team towards meeting common goals
- Support planning of design activities from concept to entry into service of clean sheet aircraft
- Work with the chief engineer and all functions to converge on executing the research program in an autonomous, self-driven team environment
- Lead program discussion, meetings and reviews across internal teams as well as partners and suppliers
- Lead closure of phases including Engineering, Operations and Quality to a sufficient level of quality and maturity
- Engage and support problem-solving for all program and engineering disciplines
- Engage partners, collaborators and suppliers into a harmonious collaborative structure
- Manage budgets to meet program goals for a large project
- Lead Program governance and support creation and delivery of executive updates
- Coach & guide other program management and project engineering team members towards meeting the program goals
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- You have a minimum of 10 years experience in aerospace.
- Program Management & Operational exposure experience is an asset or Project engineering experience.
- You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethics.
- You have excellent analytical skills and creative problem solving abilities, and you are fact-based & data-oriented.
- You can manage multiple projects and tasks
- You are a self-starter with great leadership skills and can operate both in highly structured & flexible agile work environments.
- You are looking for an autonomous, unified and open teamwork environment.
- You are able to interact easily with professionals of various backgrounds and levels of expertise, both internal and external to the company
- You present concisely and clearly and are able to adapt your communication to your audience, including higher management.
- Knowledge of Siemens Suite (ex. Teamcenter) is an asset
