Job Description SummaryThe Product Definition Engineer will work as an individual contributor and will be responsible for creating models and drawings for airplane engine hardware.

Roles and Responsibilities

Create 3D CAD models and 2D Engineering Drawings for individual parts and assemblies for aeroengine modules.
Perform basic tolerance stack-ups to meet assembly requirements
Engage with manufacturing to perform producibility reviews
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to incorporate concepts to meet design intent.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 0-3 years of experience in an engineering position

Desired Characteristics

Experience using NX (Siemens) software
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Able to work both in a team and individually
Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Complex component, module, or systems level analysis and/or hardware expertise
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving skills
