What You Will Do:
This key quality role will lead site QMS procedure development, procedure issue, training, and compliance. They will team with the organization to satisfy customer expectations while accelerate technology development.
Authors and issues new Quality Management System policies and procedures. Including updating existing procedures and training the organization.
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
Supports site AS9100 certification efforts. Leads/supports internal audits and supports external specifications. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
Works with designs, specifications, devises testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of product.
Ensures that projects and process control documents are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.
Supports Manufacturing Readiness Level progression (both manufacturing and inspection processes)
Identifies and manages risk in product development (primarily utilizing and driving Production Part Approval Process (PAPP) core elements e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.). Develops and implements proactive quality strategies.
Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action(s).
Collaborates with design engineering to improve the producibility of ceramic matrix composite components.
Supports the development and maintenance of inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology)
8+ years of Engineering experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Six Sigma Greenbelt
Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney quality systems and specifications
ASQ (American Society of Quality), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ), Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
This position requires advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems obtained through advanced education combined with experience is highly desirable.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
