JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Job Title : Maintenance Engineer

2. Reporting To : Deputy Maintenance Manager

3. Department : Maintenance

4. No. of Direct Reports : Nil

5. Duties and Responsibilities:

•tEvaluate/troubleshoot/diagnosing faults to implement/execute the corrective/curative action plan to ensure/improvise equipment operational efficiencies
•tEnsuring the continuity of plant/equipment operation with shorthest MTTR and reliable intervention
•tEstablishing effective preventive maintenance procedures
•tProvide assistance/information in calculations, design, and drawings for new equipment and process improvement to the stakeholder
•tRespond/Manage/Coordinate and Generate Quick Action/mitigation plan for any equipment break down based on the defined threshold
•tPropose the short/long term action plan base on the Equipment Vulnerability Assessment
•tKeeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out
•tIssuance of Permits-to-Work and reviewing JSA-MOS
•tCollaborate with Method Engineer on analyzing performance data and propose preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and operation
•tAssist and collaborate with Method Engineer in periodic reviewing critical/important spare parts based on the list of vital and important equipment assessment and mitigation plan
•tCollaborate with Method Engineer in Problem Solving analysis to eliminate the root causes
•tPropose and implement the maintenance investment and projects based on experience during the troubleshooting process
•tLead on behalf of Maintenance in Contract Review/MOC for any modification/improvement
•tCoordinate and Supervise contractors in execution of task and ensure the equipment are properly maintain with satisfactory operation condition
•tUpdate and review the schematic/circuitry drawings for any changes.
•tPropose and identify required training for sustaining the maintenance operation
•tGenerating routine reporting
•tAudit preparation and support
•tEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes and HSE standards
•tAdhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental policies, Energy policies procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative and others
•tAdhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities
•tPerform other related duties as required

Job Requirements:

6. Physical/Environmental Scope of Position:

•\tAble to work hot and noisy environment
•\tHandling of contractors and local authorities if required
•\tWell manage stress
•\t80% hands-on involvement in daily activity

7. Requirements:

•\tDegree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or technically related engineering field,
•\tMinimum 5 years work experience as Maintenance/Equipment Engineer,
•\tPreferable working in Heavy Industry,
•\tAbility to understand Plant P&ID, PFD or Electrical/Electronic circuitry,
•\tAbility to use ERP(CMMS) and Desktop application,
•\tKnowledge about Maintenance KPI (MTBF, MTTR, OEE…etc),
•\tProject management/Troubleshooting ability and application of problem solving tools,
•\tKnow-how about the Machine's Command and Control system such as PLC, Variable Speed Control systems and others signal related control system
•\tKnowledgeable about failure analysis and application of quality management Tools such as FMEA, RCA, DMAIC, 8D..etc,
•\tExperience of dealing with external audit and local authorities,
•\tExperience and able to utilize CAD, SAP and MS Office.
