In your role, you will:
• Provide support to operations for aircraft assembly creating NCR dispositions and leading the technical support to Methods and Quality.
• Be the engineering representative to support operations as the first support line.
• Communicate solutions and agreements to customer technical representatives and program management.
• Resolve fit, form or functional issues on Aircraft components and for repairs required during manufacturing of the Bombardier Aerospace products.
• Work closely with all specialists within all Engineering departments, such as Systems, Design, Stress, Materials & Process, Aerodynamics, Mass & Loads, Thermodynamics, Acoustics, DT Lab, Electromagnetics, etc.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specs & provide guidance to junior employees.
• Provide coaching to non MRBs team members and other not specialized MRBs.
• Lead initiatives for process development.
• Support requirements from internal and external clients.
As our ideal candidate:
• You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related field.
• You have a minimum of (1) year MRB experience or (3) years of experience in the Aerospace manufacturing industry.
• You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and systems installation and functioning.
• You have Electrical & Systems experience (considered an asset).
• You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure team environment.
• You have previous experience as a Mentor and Coach in both the Liaison Team environment and in working with problem-solving teams.
• You know how to browse Engineering mockups in CATIA V5.
• You are flexible and comfortable working autonomously, under pressure.
• You are recognized for your technical judgment and practical approach.
• You are familiar with airworthiness regulations.
