OnsiteCollins Aerospace Government Security Compliance (GSC) is seeking a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Strategic Solutions portfolio. As the Cybersecurity Engineer you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding our systems and data. Your technical contributions will bolster the skills of the team’s cybersecurity professionals, ensuring the resilience of our critical systems. Collaborating seamlessly across the technical disciplines, you’ll harmonize security efforts across the organization. Your technical expertise, commitment to risk management, and dedication to team cohesion will drive our cybersecurity success.
This role requires a technical leader with deep understanding of the business on a global scale. The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of risk management and cybersecurity practices, confidently lead across complex cross functional teams and customer stakeholders and foster a culture of technical Cybersecurity excellence.
**This position is onsite in Richardson, TX**
What YOU will do:
Configure & manage all Cybersecurity tools; DLP, Anti-Virus, SIEM, etc.
Incorporate security architecture into information system design.
Lead system vulnerability management activities.
Provide expert level interpretation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Work across functional teams to embed technical Cybersecurity solutions.
Trains and mentors subordinate, provides recurring performance feedback.
Interfaces with internal and external Security personnel, customers, management, and U.S. Government representatives.
Conducts training, briefings, presentations for multiple levels of the business.
Perform other duties as assigned by the security leadership team.
Qualifications you must have:
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
DoD 8570.01-M IAM level III certified credentials (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO).
Experienced in applying intermediate to advanced Cybersecurity concepts. regarding architecture, networking, Windows & Linux administration.
Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new security tools.
Splunk dashboard configuration and troubleshooting.
Basic to Intermediate application-level configuration experience in multiple security applications e.g. Splunk, Elastic, Trellix, Ivanti, Tenable, Nexpose, etc.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey clear, engaging, and persuasive presentations to both small and large audiences.
In-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SNAC guides, Nessus, SCAP, ICD-503, ACAS and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA.
Business travel as needed up to 20.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced application-level configuration experience in multiple security applications e.g. Splunk, Elastic, Trellix, Ivanti, Tenable, Nexpose, etc.
Experience in the oversight and execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes (Certification & Accreditation), as defined in DAAPM/JSIG/RMF.
Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments in collaboration with internal/external Customers, Information Technology (IT) and other Raytheon Missiles & Defense Business Units.
Experience working with the customer, both internal and external in the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and contract negations.
Experience in professional engagements with internal and external customers (i.e. AOs, DAOs, SCAs, Program Managers, etc.), to include negotiating controls/requirements with government Contracting Activities.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
