KLM is looking for an innovative Senior IT Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agentic AI technologies. In this role, you will be the technical authority and architect for next-generation AI productivity tools within our collaboration domain. You will design and implement AI-driven solutions that transform how our employees work, and guide our organization in adopting these tools effectively and securely. As the in-house Copilot expert, you act as a bridge between cutting-edge Microsoft AI capabilities and KLM’s business needs, ensuring we leverage AI assistants to work smarter across the company. This position reports to the Manager of Collaboration and will collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, security, and business units to drive KLM’s digital workforce transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
•Architect & Implement AI Solutions: Design and supervise Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions to streamline business processes and workflows. Design custom AI agents and integrations that address KLM’s operational challenges, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.•Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert on Copilot technologies. Provide architectural guidance and best practices for integrating AI services (like Azure AI) with KLM’s existing systems. Mentor junior engineers and IT colleagues in developing and deploying AI-powered features.•Collaboration & Advisory: Work closely with cross-functional teams (business units, Data & Analytics, Security, Legal) to identify opportunities where AI agents can add value. Translate business requirements into AI technical solutions, and tailor Copilot/AI capabilities to various departments (e.g., finance, operations, customer service).•Governance & Compliance: Establish guidelines for responsible AI usage within the organization. Ensure all Copilot and AI agent solutions comply with KLM’s security, data privacy, and compliance standards. Continuously monitor and optimize AI tools for safe and efficient use.•Training & Enablement: Develop documentation, demos, and workshops to train employees on using Microsoft 365 Copilot features effectively. Champion a culture of innovation by showcasing AI success stories and conducting sessions on prompt engineering and AI best practices for power users and IT support teams.
You will join a dynamic and international team within the IT department at KLM, based at our headquarters in Schiphol-Rijk. You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, suppliers, and business partners, to successfully complete your projects.

lever je een inhoudelijke bijdrage aan het opstellen van investeringsvoorstellen en kostenbesparingsinitiatieven.
