Engineering Planner Staff (HYBRID TELEWORK)

WHAT WERE DOING
Work closely with Business Management, Project schedulers, Subcontract Management, and Project Leads for Program Management coordination of the execution of Ship Integration Engineering tasks and Waterfront installations and test.

THE WORK
Provide program office support in developing and reviewing technical and financial contract performance presentations for customer monthly review.
Responsible for coordination and integration of the cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the program and taking appropriate action based on program metrics.

Lead Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) efforts on all Platform Integration and Test Programs. Tracking of EVMS metrics and performance by assisting recurring internal reviews, review and approve all Baseline Change Requests, Variance Analysis, Estimates to Complete, Risk Based Assessment, Performance Assessment Reviews, etc…

Coordinate performance reviews, monitor contract funding, hours and Control Account (CA) rates to assist the PM in identifying contract issues or concerns.
Develop baseline plans for Option Year performance and conduct a verification assessment to ensure requests are in line with empirical data and pending scope requirements.

Support program Tier 2 meetings to monitor on going CA performance and projections; provide monthly Tier 3 inputs on program accomplishments, issues / concerns, and near term plans; and assist the finance manager in developing monthly CSR and preliminary quarterly LRP inputs for PM review.

Monitor CA hours / funding / rate performance in conjunction with contract TIs, incorporate pending task scope and determine required period of performance, hours and funding projections for future contract and TI modifications.

Assist in coordinating the annual development of Task Planning Sheets (TPS) and ensure all planned tasking and phased requirements are accounted for in budgetary estimates.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience working closely with a Program Management team in program data collection, assessment, and reporting.

-Prior experience with managing the execution of a EVMS program with subcontractor integration

-Experience in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships

-Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline from an accredited college

-Strong knowledge of PPMP-01 and ANSI EIA 748 EVMS Guidelines

-Experience as a Control Account Manager and current CAM certification.

-Financial experience background

-Experience with multiple contract structures

-Experience/Understanding of CDRL deliveries

-Formats 1-5

-Green/Black Belt Certified

-Ability to guide and train team members on principles and requirements related to cost controls and EVMS

-Proven ability to coordinate across financial and planning stakeholders for the execution of completion scope with earned value management requirements
-Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to successfully lead program execution/product development to satisfy customer expectations
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
