Position Summary
This position will perform engineering tasks within the product and/or manufacturing engineering groups as assigned by engineering personnel. An intern is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience while school in not in session such as summer break. A Coop is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience instead of taking classes.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering related tasks as assigned by engineering personnel.
- Evaluate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
- Design products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
- Improve products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
- Cost reduce products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
- Validate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
- Create/update engineering drawings.
- Model with 3D CAD products, tooling, machines and/or processes.
- Perform engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Prototype products, tooling, machines and/or processes.
- Prepare reports.
- Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

Pursuing a degree in Engineering
