About the RolePDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Test and Evaluation Engineer to support our Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team in Huntsville, AL. This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of aerospace technology, contributing to the development and validation of radar missile seekers and electromagnetic systems in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team driving innovation in radar, RF systems, and electromagnetic testing — making a real impact on national defense and aerospace advancement.
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop and validate requirements for electromagnetic test systems and components.
- Design hardware/software architectures for system integration.
- Conduct simulations, trade studies, and performance analyses.
- Define and execute tests to validate customer design requirements.
- Operate test procedures independently and troubleshoot anomalies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet test objectives.
- Travel domestically to support testing and attend industry conferences.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or related field.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in electromagnetics in a lab setting.
- 1+ years of experience or coursework in RF systems/theory.
- Willingness to travel domestically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree (Master’s/PhD).
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Experience with radar/RF hardware and test equipment (e.g., VNA, Spectrum Analyzer).
- Familiarity with DSP, FPGA design, Linux OS, and embedded programming.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, MATLAB, C++, Python.
