What You Will Be Doing:
As a Construction Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you will have the opportunity to kick-start your career in a dynamic environment while playing a key role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects.

This position offers a pathway for professional growth as you contribute to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your day-to-day contributions will include but are not limited to the following:
Project Planning and Design Support: Collaborate with senior engineers to assist in the planning and design phases, reviewing construction plans, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Construction Activity Coordination: Support construction activities by coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and inspectors, ensuring that tasks are on schedule and aligned with budget expectations.
Inspection and Quality Assurance: Participate in construction inspections to verify that work meets established plans, specifications, and codes. Assist in testing and evaluating materials and equipment to maintain high-quality standards.
Documentation Preparation: Help prepare essential documentation related to construction activities, including daily logs, field reports, and change orders, contributing to clear project records.
Project Closeout Assistance: Aid in project closeout processes, preparing final reports and ensuring all project documentation is complete and accurate.
Quality Control Maintenance: Assist in maintaining quality control by ensuring that all materials and workmanship meet project specifications and industry codes.
Industry Development Engagement: Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, regulations, and best practices, fostering continuous personal and professional growth.

Basic Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited college
experience directly related to construction activities.
Desired Skills:
2+ years of experience directly related to construction
Trade experience / ability to read and interpret Blueprints / Critical Thinker and ability to make decisions / Field Experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $52,800 - $101,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $60,700 - $114,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
